If I were to send one of my girls to the AG hospital would she still feel like my Sadie (the doll I thought about sending)? I've thought about sending her in for a mew head. I know it's a bit of a silly question, but this doll is very special to me. Sadie was my first doll.

I had the same concerns when I was thinking about sending in my Sam (who was badly in need of a new head!). She had very thin hair left, probably because I took her everywhere with me when I was little. She was my best friend. I was totally afraid that if I got a new head on her, she wouldn't be the same.
Right before my Sam turned 15 years old, I took the plunge and I got a new head for her and I was so excited to see her come back and even more excited that she was still my same Sam (just with more hair to play with). Now I'm considering sending in my Lissie (who will be 15 years old Christmas 2006). Your Sadie will be the same when she comes back. They do a great job!

I sent my Samantha in back in 1998. I'm so glad I did now, she looks much better than she did before we sent her in. But, when we sent her in, I was about 80% "out" of AG, so it wasn't any huge loss, and I didn't have the feeling of "oh will she still be MY Sam?!" If you're feeling that way, I'd suggest you just send her in for the wellness visit. Then she'll come back your same doll, just prettier. .
